RNCM Counselling Service
The RNCM has three highly-experienced and BACP qualified counsellors onsite to help and support all students during their studies.
The counselling service is free and confidential and sessions take place at the College. If you prefer to talk to someone externally, you can also arrange to do this by contacting one of the Student Wellbeing Advisors at wellbeing@rncm.ac.uk.
The RNCM has four Mental Health First Aiders at the College who can offer guidance and support on a range of issues. Although they’re not a qualified counselling service, they can provide a first response by listening to your problems, offering support and signposting you to additional relevant services.
You can find out more information here.
Please note
Pending the appointment of a successor to Claire Donoghue, who left the College last month, there is likely to be a delay in responding to requests for counselling sessions.
Wendy and Bryan are doing all they can to minimise the time you may have to wait for an appointments, and would ask for your patience and understanding while trying to manage the current situation.
For other support and services available during this period, please access a wide range of information contained on the RNCM Health & Wellbeing Hub page on Moodle at https://moodle.rncm.ac.uk/moodle/course/view.php?id=1912
Thank you.
